The Wendy’s High School Heisman Award
The prestige of the Heisman Trophy can be yours before you even step foot on college turf. Every year, the Wendy’s High School Heisman honors one male and one female senior student-athlete for their excellence in the classroom, on the court and in the community.
The Wendy’s High School Heisman, presented by Wendy’s Restaurants and the Heisman Memorial Trophy Committee, honors two athletes who play one of 32 designated sports, have GPAs of 3.0 or higher and are leaders in their schools and communities.
Sound like you? Go to wendyshighschoolheisman.com to get started with the online application. The deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. Central Time.
In November, 12 national finalists will be selected and flown to New York City for the awards ceremony, live on ESPN, where two national winners will receive trophies for themselves and $10,000 checks for their high schools. [Under NCAA rules & regs, the Committee cannot give monetary awards to students.]
It’s not cash in the bank, but instead another trophy acknowledging your dedication as a student-athlete—and the glory of being a Heisman winner.
