Naughty Dog revealed plans to release a new Uncharted title for PS4. Little is known about the forthcoming game, including whether or not Nathan Drake will again be the protagonist.
In a short teaser trailer for the forthcoming title, a man says, “I lost 15 years, buried alive, erased. You left me rotting in that hell hole and never looked back. But you can’t outrun the past, and when it catches up, when all your lies collapse around you, I’ll be there sifting through the wreckage. You owe me.” Check it out below.
inFamous: Second Son Coming March 2014
Two weeks ago, Sony teased the coming of inFamous: Second Son Collector’s and Special Editions. Last week, the company confirmed the official release date for Sucker Punch’s new title and released a trailer for the game. Previously slated to arrive in February, Second Son will now hit shelves March 21, 2014.
The clip gives gamers another look at the plot, which will unfold in Seattle, and a glimpse at the super powers of the main character, Delvin Rowe.
“The line between fun and realism is our number one concern: every discussion we have, from the bad guys’ uniforms to the smoke powers, is all within that balance between making sure fun and gameplay are king, but it’s also as believable as possible,” art director Horia Dociu told GameSpot.

Monolith Productions and WBIE have announced plans to release a new Lord of the Rings video game called Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The title will be a third-person, open-world action game, according to Warner Bros. Its events will take place between the ending of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and the beginning of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Gamers will take on the role of Talion, an all-new character, whose family has been slain by Sauron and his army.
“Resurrected by a Spirit of vengeance and empowered with Wraith abilities, Talion ventures into Mordor and vows to destroy those who have wronged him. Through the course of his personal vendetta, Talion uncovers the truth of the Spirit that compels him, learns the origins of the Rings of Power and ultimately confronts his true nemesis,” reads the press release for the forthcoming game.
A release date has not been announced, but Shadow of Mordor is expected to be released on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
Destiny Beta Coming to PlayStation 3 and 4 First
Last week during Spike TV’s PlayStation All Access event, developer Bungie announced that PS3 and PS4 gamers will get the first look at Destiny. The beta will reach Sony consoles first and be released later or the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A release date for either the beta or the game still hasn’t been revealed, but both are expected in early 2014.
“The Destiny beta, in many ways, is being treated like a full product launch. We can’t just carve out three competitive multiplayer maps this time around . . . Destiny requires more,” Bungie’s Eric Osborne told GameSpot in October.
