Seventeen years ago, Tony Hawk completed the first 900 at the 1999 X Games after trying the trick eight times. The 900 is one of skateboarding’s most legendary tricks, with the difficult 2 1/2 turn aerial spin giving the skateboarding community fits.
Now, 17 years later, the 48-year-old skateboarding genius is still pulling off the famous trick. In a video from RIDE channel, a skateboarding news website, Hawk is shown doing the 900. He took a few tries to do it, but he was still able to nail the trick.
