WATCH: Dwyane Wade Sends Wayne Ellington to the Ground With a Brutal Crossover
It’s an unfortunate reality in this age of Twitter and Vine, but a reality nonetheless: If you get crossed over, it will hit the Internet within minutes and will then be replayed, depending on its severity, thousands to millions of times.
That is currently happening to Brooklyn Nets guard Wayne Ellington, who was on the opposite end of a nasty Dwyane Wade crossover last night that sent him tumbling to the floor as if he’d been shoved. He wasn’t shoved, of course, just caught off guard by Wade’s change of direction. But that’s just semantics. All anyone is talking about today is Ellington, his ankles, and whether they need surgery after what Wade did to them.
Sorry, Wayne. It’s unfair, we know. But this is how the Internet works.
