He is a former professional football player and powerlifter turned nationally recognized speaker, author, and coach. He has presented at National and World level conferences, and his written work has appeared in the Harvard Crimson, the Orlando Sentinel, PennLive, and the Globe Post, among other locations. Current research of the Good Athlete Project focuses on the physiological underpinnings of cognitive processes, and the effects of self-talk on performance.
