Emporio Armani X Reebok EA7 Spring/Summer 2011 ZigTech

Can a sneaker be as fashionable as it is functional? Emporio Armani, one of the world’s top fashion designers, clearly thinks so. Last year, Armani released a fall/winter 2010 activewear and lifestyle shoe collection in partnership with Reebok called  EA7, and the collaboration continues in 2011. This year's spring/summer collection will feature the EA7 ZigTech, one of the first performance shoes intended to directly influence high fashion.

Using the latest round of Zig technology, the shoe incorporates the familiar zigzag-shaped outsole to absorb energy upon impact.  But the EA7 running and training shoe has a simpler, sleeker design—all in silver—to create a true Armani look and feel, one that strives to invoke a new kind of electric and dynamic performance.
