Shop for a Good Cause with PUMA's Project Pink 2012 Collection
Glance at your team roster. Roughly one out every eight girls on your team will develop a form of invasive breast cancer at some point in their lives. That’s a pretty scary statistic.
Fortunately, plenty of smart people are working to make things better. To help these people, organizations like the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure have dubbed October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month for more than 25 years.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PUMA has launched its annual Project Pink collection. Featuring a wide range of apparel, the collection is available online, at Macy’s and in PUMA stores nationwide. All proceeds go directly to a fan-nominated breast cancer charity.
To nominate your favorite charity, head to puma.com/projectpink. Nominations are open until Sept. 21. You can also help your favorite breast cancer charity through Twitter. For every tweet that uses #projectpink, PUMA has pledged to donate a dollar. Be the ultimate team player (and take advantage of a great excuse to hit the mall) by partnering with PUMA to help find a cure for this deadly disease.
