The New York Knicks Have Fully Embraced Post-Practice Yoga
Yoga has found its way into Madison Square Garden. In years past, individual New York Knicks players like Cleanthony Early, Kyle O’Quinn and Derrick Rose have all added yoga into their workout routines (though Rose didn’t seem to have an explanation for why he added it); but the 2016-2017 Knicks coaching staff has fully embraced the concept of team yoga, as is now having their players go through sessions immediately after practices.

That was the case Thursday afternoon, when Knicks beat reporters were given a glimpse into one such session as the team gathered to perform yoga after a training camp practice session. With a handful of new additions like Rose and former Chicago Bulls Joakim Noah, yoga can be used not only as a recovery technique, but also as a team bonding exercise.
Judging by the photo above, though, Kristaps Porzingis needs to step his yoga game up. Get into it, young man!
